With a voice as dynamic as her personality, ANNIKA is an accomplished musician, vocalist, and songwriter whose blend of raw talent and quick-witted charm has been winning over audiences for nearly two decades.
Raised in Calgary, Alberta, ANNIKA combines her love of country songwriting with soulful piano playing and rich, melodic vocals. Her music flows seamlessly across genres - mixing the warmth of country, the groove of soul, the edge of pop, and the depth of blues. She has built a thriving career as an independent artist with over 1 million global streams, 2 .3 million YouTube views, and high-profile collaborations with Canadian country stars Carolyn Dawn Johnson (2025), Chad Brownlee (2024), and Brett Kissel (2021).
On November 6, ANNIKA releases her highly anticipated sophomore album, Forever Changed.
The nine-track collection is a deeply personal exploration of heartbreak, healing, personal growth, love, and surrender. Moving fluidly through different genres and production styles, the album captures the many emotions and experiences that shape us - from the moments that break us down to the ones that ultimately change us. The album’s focus track, “Same Story,” is a dark, moody reflection on the sadness and frustration of being caught in the same cycle with someone.
The album follows a series of releases that have introduced listeners to its many sides, including the soulful “Don’t Get You A Man,” her collaboration with Carolyn Dawn Johnson on the album’s title track, “Forever Changed,” and the upbeat, Motown-inspired “Love Me Like No Other.”

ANNIKA’s career has been marked by milestones that reflect both her versatility and her ability to connect with audiences. An iHeartRadio Future Star and Boots & Hearts semi-finalist, she has received multiple YYC Award nominations, while her debut single, “I Really Don’t Want To,” spent five consecutive weeks on the CBC Country Top 40 chart and four weeks on Billboard Country’s Top 50 chart.
A professionally trained pianist and vocalist, ANNIKA has taken her talents around the world - from bustling cruise ship piano bars to national television as a Top 11 finalist on Canadian Idol, and to the Calgary Stampede Grandstand Show, where she performed for a combined audience of more than 200,000 people. Her performance highlights also include playing “In the Round” at Nashville’s legendary Bluebird Cafe and performing at Birdland Jazz Club in New York City.
